The Cantonment Board Agra maintains street lights in entire civil area, bungalow area and on some of the roads in military area. The Board maintains 1640 points. Over past few years various points have been replaced with sun lamps & also with High Mast lights at important junctions. At certain important locations High Mast lights have been got fitted through the agency of Agra Development Authority out of “Pathkar fund”. Street lighting  in Cantonment is quite satisfactory.

Conversion of street lights and building lights with LED lights has already been started in the Cantonment area and about 40 kw capacity of solar panels have been installed at Cantonment Board Office.
